It's hard to describe what I've come to call "T h a t.. F i n n i s h.. F e e l i n g ". Our day was spent trolling past numerous islands. I had never fished from a boat before and though there were only 3 of us, Jouko showed us how we could manage easily the 10 poles and lines we had out. The weather was mixed but even in the rain, we just put the cover over the back boat and still fished with success. That night we feasted on the day's catch and had sampled a few Finnish beers and sausages too. Afterwards we all had a hot sauna and a quick jump in the lake. Sleep came easily and quickly for us all. The next day we were up early; cleaned up camp and were back on the lake. I whole heartily recommend a day or two out fishing, camping and of course the sauna as well.
